Directors

Bay Community Health is a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. They are members of our South County community and are representative of our patient community in terms of race, ethnicity, gender, and professional background. Board members are selected for their expertise in healthcare, government, finance, education, banking, law, business, social services, and patient experiences. Fifty-one percent of board members are active users of Bay Community Health services.

Tribute:

Jane Hagen, a faithful and active member of the Bay Community Health Board of Directors, passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, October 1, 2021. Though she was a long-time resident of North Beach, MD, Ms. Hagen was a native of Bellingham, WA. Ms. Hagen attended Western Washington University prior to becoming a medical assistant. She mothered 4 children and was proceeded in death by her husband of 32 years, Mr. Jim Hagen. During her residency in North Beach, Ms. Hagen was a member of the North Beach House & Garden Club, the North Beach Town Council, The Red Hat Society, The Maryland Municipal League, and the Trinity Episcopal Church. As a member of the Bay Community Health Board of Directors, Ms. Hagen held the positions of general member and Vice Chairman. Ms. Hagen was instrumental in the approval of policies and procedures that structured the framework of current workflows at Bay Community Health. Her leadership will truly be missed.
